An Update on Affyn's partnership with Neopets Metaverse
The Neopets Team (TNT) recently announced that they will be shutting down Neopets Metaverse in a pivot away from Web3 to focus on a more traditional Neopets offering.
Affyn announced a partnership with Neopets Metaverse on 18 May, but the partnership was at a preliminary stage when TNT's decision was made; as such, the partnership will not be going forward in its current form without penalty to either party.
While we are saddened to lose a partner metaverse, we respect TNT's business decision and wish them all the best going forward - many of us at Affyn have fond memories of Neopia and its many wheels!
On a larger scale, this will not have any impact on Affyn's roadmap. Our partnership with other metaverses such as Sandbox will continue and we will still be on the lookout for more metaverses to partner with.
